Elements and Performance Criteria
- Prepare to remove light vehicle wheel and tyre assembly

- Report inspection findings and make recommendations for necessary repairs or replacements and adjustments according to workplace procedures
- Refit wheel and tyre assembly
- Obtain and interpret refitting information in order to identify refitting options required for the job
- Fit and adjust wheel and tyre assembly according to manufacturer specifications, workplace procedures and workplace health and safety requirements
- Carry out tightening sequence and torque settings according to manufacturer specifications and workplace procedures
- Examine wheel assembly for correct assembly and run-out according to manufacturer specifications and workplace procedures, and rectify any issues identified
- Complete work processes
- Carry out final inspection to ensure work meets workplace expectations and vehicle is ready for use
- Clear work area and dispose of or recycle materials according to workplace procedures
- Examine and store tools and equipment according to workplace procedures
- Complete workplace documentation according to workplace procedures
